amongst all of the barbecues, swimming, boating, etc. that we can't neglect our spiritual well-being! Don't just
remember to not leave your mayo out in the sun or wear your life jacket when you swim but you also need to
remember to edify your soul and protect your heart!! Also, remember to attend your home church! It might be easier
to drowned spiritually than it is physically! Have a great summer!!
Here are some thoughts from one of our team members.

Knowing who you are in Christ seems to be as popular a phrase today, as “What would Jesus do?" was in the past.
But do you really know who you are in Christ? Really, really know?!?

I believe that one of the things that makes a professional athlete so successful, is that when they step up to the plate,
or the football field or...their starting point is that they are aware of one fact. They know that they are a professional
athlete. They know who they are.  They’re not questioning the validity of whether they belong on the field or not. Just
imagine their success rate if they didn't! They’d get knocked on their can!!

If you’re saved, God calls you Sons and Daughters. One of the biggest blessings in having a call on your life is
getting to take others to another level in their walk. One of the biggest frustrations of having a call on your life is first
getting them onboard with who they are. The fact that God considers them worthy and they can be confident in their
calling.

The other day as I prayed, waiting for communion, the Lord showed me a long banquet table loaded with the
best of  foods.  Jesus sat at one end and as the scene panned from Him down the long table, I saw empty chair
after empty chair. At the far end, I saw just a few uncomfortable saints sitting in chairs, the look on their faces
reminded me of someone who felt like they were somewhere they shouldn't be. Under the table, sat many other
saints humbly eating scraps.  Then I heard the Lord implore them “Please, come up to the table, gather around and
eat with Me.”

At our house we have eight children.  Meal time can be a little noisy to say the least.  But let me tell one thing, my
children know who I am and who they are and they fight over who gets to sit by mom and dad at each meal and that
blesses me.

All that the Lord has ever wanted with us is relationship.  I know that it’s an honor to even be in the same room with
HIM.  And I am aware that we are to not take the seat of honor but wait to be called up. Church, HE’s calling us up.
Come boldly to HIS throne.  Know who you are.  The world is groaning for you to know who you are.  How can you
fulfill your destiny without first knowing this? He is calling out to you! Will you respond?
