Good Morning,
I have a couple of things to share with you before our team member, Rocky Sandberg shares an excellent
lesson.
Please pray with us for our team members, Randy & Debbie Salvig. Their son, Rick (in his 20s), was in a
fatal car wreck this week. Please pray with us for their family. This family is an incredible asset to the
Kingdom of God and valued friends. Praise the Lord, Rick had recently re-committed his life to the Lord at
New Life Fellowship. Thank you Jesus!!

This Saturday, we will be having our A.C.T.S. (All Churches Training Service) in the Rainier Assembly of
God Fellowship Hall. This will be at 6 pm and will offer worship, supernatural training and a time of
ministry. Please feel free to join us. Child care is provided.

Thank you again for the prayers and support, as I have gone through some recent medical challenges
with my heart. I am feeling much better and have returned to full time work after 3 weeks off. My body is
still a little run down, but we are making some wise life decisions to accomplish more by being more
strategic through the Holy Spirit. Thank you again for your calls, cards, emails, etc. God is so good!!

Now for some great teaching from one of our team members, Rocky Sandberg. May God bless you and
speak to you through this teaching.

Working while it is still day,
Pastor Jeff McCracken and the Kingdom Power Now Team

You won’t drive through the streets of our town for long, before you discover an interesting phenomenon on
the main roads.  RUTS!!  And as your vehicle’s tires slip into these ruts you will soon realize two things. The
first of which is “Hey this thing is steering itself.” Followed by “this certainly isn’t the safest place to be in the
world.”

Ruts are caused by the weight of traffic following the same path over and over again.  They are located in the
safest part of the road (not too far to the left—not too far to the right) a comfort zone, which kind of makes
sense—I guess.  But that’s only if you are talking about car safety.

Regarding Spiritual Safety, I don’t believe that the Holy Spirit wooed us to the path of following Christ just to
concern ourselves with our own personal safety and comfort.  In fact 1 Peter 3:18 instructs us:

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to
death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

And as Christians we are to emulate and be followers of Christ.  Once you have allowed yourself to be “put to
death in the flesh, and quickened by the Spirit” that once common, easy path should become uncommon and
less traveled by you.

Every person in this life is traveling somewhere.  With each step, people are either being saved or lost.  The
world speaks of several roads, but Jesus said that there are really only two roads.  There is the road of many
which is broad and the road of the few, which is narrow.

Matthew 7:13 "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction,
and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life,
and there are few who find it.

Next time while you are out driving, take a look at the ruts, and notice how easy it is for them to pull you down
into their comfort zone.  Then do what I do.  Get a little closer to the edge (maybe out of the box) and come up
out of the rut.
