"Our Root System"

Good Morning,
I would like to share a few things with you before one of our team members, Rocky Sandberg, shares a great lesson
with us. First, let me tell you that I need to correct a testimony from last week's newsletter. I shared a testimony with
you, regarding a prophetic word that I was able to give to a woman before her husband passed away. In the
newsletter, it was stated that the lady called her husband after receiving the word. This is not correct. This was
misunderstood in the editing process. What actually transpired was that she received the word of comfort and went
home to find that her husband had deceased and had "gone home" to be with the Lord.

I apologize for this incorrect editing. We feel that it is very important to share these testimonies with you, 100%
accurately. These testimonies are true and we do not feel that the Lord needs any embellishment of His work. His
miracles can stand on their own and can stand up to scrutiny from doctors or anyone else. Again, please accept my
deepest apologies, this was not an intentional error. Thank you Pastor Berry, for catching the error and helping us to
correct it.

Please pray with our team and with Pastor Berry and his Church, for this woman that has lost her husband. Even with
the comforting word of the Lord, this is still a very difficult time. Thank you, Lord for your Grace and Mercy.

Secondly, I would like to share with you, that our next A.C.T.S. (All Churches Training Service) will be held on March
24 at Newsong Worship Center in Lexington. We are very excited to work with Pastor Marv Kasemier and his team
again. Besides hosting us, they will be providing the worship, which we are looking forward to. Also, we will be taking
time to pray favor and blessing for their church, that night. I will be including the address and driving instructions in
next week's newsletter.

We would like to extend an invitation to local churches that would like to host an upcoming A.C.T.S. service. You can
contact me at jeff@kingdompowernow.com We continue to have a goal of wanting to bless the local churches.

Following is part one of a great two part lesson from one of our team members, Rocky Sandberg. You will enjoy it!

Working while it is still day,
Pastor Jeff McCracken and the Kingdom Power Now Team

Have you ever wondered how some Christians tend to weather storms better than others?  I believe the answer is
roots.  Healthy Christians should have a healthy, expanding root system.  This root system is essential for survival
and growth.  They  anchor the Christian from the storms, provide nourishment for growth, provide storage reserves
for spiritual drought, and actually produce necessary requirements of nourishment for Christian growth.

Matthew 13:18 "Therefore hear the parable of the sower: 19 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does
not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received
seed by the wayside.

The enemy knows he must act fast, that he doesn’t’ have much time before the seed takes root and becomes firmly
planted in us to produce a substance of lasting value.

Matthew 13:20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives
it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises
because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

We can receive God’s Word on healing and deliverance, even enjoy some of it’s fruit, but it must become firmly rooted
in us quickly because the enemy will be back almost as fast with tribulation and persecution (usually in the same area)
to try and get us to doubt that the healing or deliverance ever occurred in the first place.

Matthew 13:22 Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world
and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

Roots can grow in many places.  In fact, for a time they can appear to actually thrive but eventually, at some point,
because of poor location, they can starve to death.

Matthew 13:23 But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who
indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty."

Good ground is a place that is not sheltered by the world but is right smack-dab in the middle of God’s elements.
Ready to receive His glorious Sonshine and refreshing Reign.

Next week I’d like to share with you on how we can strengthen and expand our root system.
