Newsletter for 1/11/07- Truth versus Facts
|
Did you know that you can't always believe in the facts. Facts can get you in a lot of trouble. First of all it takes no
faith to believe in facts. Facts are just what they are; what you can see with you own eyes.
God's Word instructs us in 2 Corinthians 5 verse 7: "For we walk by faith, not by sight." Abraham, the Father of our
Faith gave us witness by believing "Who against hope believed in hope." Romans 8:24 tells us "hope that is seen is
not hope."
Could it be that our enemy loves to deal in facts with bright neon lights while working overtime to keep truth hidden,
locked in a deep, dark closet?
To believe this you have to understand that we live in two worlds:
- One--This fleshly earth that is governed by the prince of this world that we wrestle with and who is not flesh nor
blood but instead principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places.
- And the second one--The Kingdom of which we are "born again" into. The One that Jeus is the Head of and Who,
Himself said "My Kingdom is not of this world." and instructed us "not to be conformed to this world".
Back to facts verses truth let me remind you of some New Testament truths. "Greater is He that is in you than he that
is in the world." "Simple faith can move mountains." "By His stripes we are healed" "When two agree in prayer
together God hears and answers" "We have not because we ask not." These are truths that expose and overcome
facts.
The rules or facts of this world say:
- Man can't walk on water. But Kingdom did!
- Those of the fleshly world can't calm the storms. But Kingdom did!
- Fleshly world can't raise the dead. But Kingdom did!
- Fleshly world can't transport themselves to another city supernaturally. But Kingdom did!
- Iron axe heads sink to the bottom of rivers. But Kingdom raises them!
- Someone has cancer. But Kingdom heals!
- Someone's addicted to drugs. But Kingdom delivers!
- Marriages are in trouble. But Kingdom restores!
Many of God's children have been born again into the Kingdom but "suffer, because of a lack of knowledge". Most
when "born again" have an understanding of salvation but who they've become in Christ is kept hidden from them by
the darkness of this world and as a result suffer. If you're waiting on the sidelines for things to make sense before
you step out your missing out on opportunities of ministry. Let's rise up together, know to Whom we belong and live
boldly in His world through His Word.
We'd like to invite you to our Saturday Night ALL Church Ministry Time on January 13, 2007 @ 6 PM in the Rainier
Assembly of God Fellowship Hall. We will have Evangelist, Conference Speaker, Musician and Song Writer Ormel
Chapin speaking. Ormel has written songs for DC Talk and Tait, as well as being an incredible piano player himself
and in-demand conference speaker. Child care will be available and will be taking up an offering to bless Ormel and
those involved with childcare.
Sincerely,
Rocky Sandberg and The Kingdom Power Now Ministry Team
