Good Morning,
Today I would like to share a thought with you that goes along with two new testimonies and one that we have shared
before. But just before I do that, I want to remind you that we have testimony tapes available regarding our last
Healing Service at Rainier Assembly of God. This includes Brittanie's testimony of her formal club foot growing three
sizes while we prayed and her mom's response as well. The tapes also include quite a few other testimonies from the
Healing Service that night. We are also hoping to have these converted to CD's within the week. Details on how to
order this will be at the end of this email or on our web site.
A thought. Quite a few times during Jesus' Ministry, He made house calls. He didn't wait for a "Healing Service", He
literally went to where they lived. One such case of this is recorded in Luke 8:49-56.
49 While He was still speaking, someone came from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, "Your
daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Teacher." 50 But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, "Do not be
afraid; only believe, and she will be made well." 51 When He came into the house, He permitted no one to go in
except Peter, James, and John, and the father and mother of the girl. 52 Now all wept and mourned for her; but He
said, "Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping." 53 And they ridiculed Him, knowing that she was dead. 54 But He
put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying, "Little girl, arise." 55 Then her spirit returned, and she
arose immediately. And He commanded that she be given something to eat. 56 And her parents were astonished, but
He charged them to tell no one what had happened.
In the last two weeks our team has made two house calls for people with very significant medical issues. The first one
was a self-proclaimed atheist named David that was headed to Seattle to have a tumor removed from a very
strategically placed artery. This artery connects the heart to other organs. However, after praying for him, he
proceeded to Seattle where a new MRI showed that the tumor had been considerably reduced and allowed the
doctor to make a small incision to remove what was left. Because of this the family has been converted and began
attending a local church. Praise the Lord.
This week, we went to the apartment of a 30 year old man named Micheal. Micheal has had part of his colon
removed as well as several other surgeries but had still been sent home with a death sentence of cancer. We met
with Micheal and shared several testimonies to help build his faith. We talked about whether he believed that the
Lord could heal him and that it is actually God's Will. We then prayed for Micheal to be healed. Using the authority
that the Lord has given all of us, we commanded the sickness to go back to the enemy. After this Micheal instantly
gained new strength and mobility. The results were instantaneous and miraculous. Micheal had previously been
limited in his ability to move his arms and also his ability to stand for even short periods of time without severe pain.
As we began to spontaneously sing a worship song in his apartment, Micheal stood to his feet in the middle of the
room and raised his arms and began to worship for several minutes. His girlfriend began sobbing as she related to us
that he shouldn't have the ability or strength to stand without assistance especially for that kind of time period. Nor
should he have been able to raise his arms up to worship the way that he was. His countenance had changed as well
as his demeanor. We will be excited to see him go back to his doctor. We believe that the Lord's work can stand up to
any doctor's examination.
These were not our first house calls. A middle aged man named Kim, had been diagnosed with cancer, had his
bladder removed and sent home with six weeks to live. When our team member prayed for him in his home on a
Saturday night the Lord touched him miraculously. His fever broke the next day and he returned to work the next day,
where he works on a paving crew. (Very physical work!) A couple of weeks later he returned to Oregon Health
Sciences University Hospital with his unbelieving daughter. She was very surprised to find out that after quite a few
tests, they couldn't find any cancer and he was sent home with a clean bill of health (NO cancer!!).
There have been several others but the point is that we (and you!) don't have to be in a church service or have
Pastor in front of our names, to deliver God's Will to someone's life. The only requirements are that we have a
relationship with the Lord and that we have faith that the Lord can and will heal. Notice in the scripture above, that
Jesus kicks out those with a lack of faith. If this is powerful enough to effect Jesus ministry, how much more can it
affect us! We need to come to a point of believing that what scripture says is really true!! The Lord took the stripes
for a good reason! He paid for our salvation (which we have an easier time receiving) at the same time as He paid for
our healing. If we don't utilize the power that He was tortured and killed for, then we really devalue what He did. Let's
validate the price that He paid and fulfill His dreams that He has for our lives!
