Good Morning!
I pray that you are enjoying your Memorial Day Weekend. Memorial Day of course is when we honor those that lost
their lives in the defense of our country. Thank you Jesus for those that were willing to give their lives for our freedom!
As we celebrate our freedom & liberty, we must honor those that paid their all for those people that they didn't even
know. In celebration of that freedom & liberty, we should be willing to invest our lives in seeing those that have not
received or walked in their spiritual liberty to get it!
Jesus also gave His all in the battle for our spiritual liberation. We must enjoy this liberty in order for us to not
negate the price that He paid. We must not be friviolous with this most valuable gift. We must not only hold it in high
esteem but we must also utilize it. To treat this gift with the fragileness of a bone china teacup would be to negate it's
true value. Instead, we must utilize our freedom to worship, minister, learn and be more like Christ. The intrinsic value
of Christ's death is lost if we only allow Him to take our place on the cross but we never take His place in ministry. If we
don't accept His gift of the Holy Spirit to "endue us with power" then we only use His precious gift as a "get out of hell"
free card. This is not what Jesus died for.
He died so that we could live. But not live a mundane or natural life but a profound supernatural life that would be a
mirror image of the life that He led. He lived on earth to be an example to us and if we don't follow His example then
we live in rebellion of the scriptures that are written in red and reflect His thoughts.

"And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers,
raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give." Matthew 10:7-8

Initially, Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day and honored the Union Soldiers that died in the Civil
War. This was later expanded to all soldiers that gave their lives. It was celebrated close to Reunification Day, which
was the day that the North and South were brought back together. Aren't you glad that you had a "Reunification Day"
with the Lord Jesus Christ. He is always going ahead of us and preparing good things for us! And if we are willing, He
will go ahead of us and prepare the hearts of those that we are called to minister too. He is willing to set up divine
appointments for us to bring liberty and freedom to those that have not received it yet! They can experience the same
blessings that you and I have, if we are willing to step out and share! Thank You Jesus!!
