Greetings and Happy Mother's Day!!
I am very pleased to share some good news with you. We had a powerful move of God that surrounded the Healing
Training this last weekend. Pastor Marc Buchheit, the Northwest Coordinator for the International Association of
Healing Rooms, joined us Saturday Night for the training and stayed over for the Rainier Assembly of God service on
Sunday Morning. We then had Tyler Johnson, a protege of Marc's, a gifted author, respected itinerant minister and
graduate of Bethel's Supernatural School, ministered on Sunday night. This has added to what God has been doing
in Rainier Assembly's "Sunday Night Live" services.
There has been a great outpouring in the services and the attendance has double from last year. God has been
pouring His Spirit out in these meetings. Many that don't have Sunday night services or have wanted to supplement
their spiritual diets have been joining us in these services and God has met them there! I would like to share some
testimonies from these services. My goal is that the testimonies will help build your faith and expectation within your
own churches. God is not a respecter of persons and wants to pour out in EVERY church!
Last Sunday night (5/3/09), we had 13 young people between the ages of 5 and 14 get filled with the Holy Spirit
with the evidence of speaking in tongues for the first time in their young lives. In the previous weeks, we have had
several others including my seven your old daughter Abigail (she reported this to her public school teacher the next
morning, to which the teacher responded, "Congratulations!")
We have also had numerous miracles taking place. Phyllis, an 80ish year old saint, was born without part of her ear
drum and totally deaf in that ear. She received about 50% hearing in that ear on March 22 and has received the rest
since then. Praise the Lord!
Here is an email sent to me from another member of our church regarding a friend that recently visited-
"My friend Rena has been living on her pain medication for years and had her Tens Unit, that little machine on her
side, using it twice a day for a long time. She got out of bed at my moms house this morning with no Ice, Heat, Tens
Unit or Pain pills and went without anything all day. She says she has so much energy and don't know why you don't
advertise healing and pain relief in the paper or phonebook. She said she hasn't felt like this ever, she says it feels
like God is with her all the time. She is amazed and don't know how to describe her feelings. I have never seen her
this happy! Oh ya, both services, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Mitch Sandberg, an 8 year old son of Healing Room Coordinator Rocky Sandberg, had a bladder infection causing
him to urinate red and was accompanied by significant pain. He was prayed for on a Sunday night and at his doctor's
appointment the next morning (12 hours later), the doctors couldn't find anything wrong. Praise the Lord!!
Lorraine asked for prayer for her knees, arthritis in both, causing pain and lack of mobility and her right ear that
was totally deaf. Knees and ear totally healed. She has full mobility and can hear perfectly! Thank you Jesus!
Brittany is a 19 year old young lady that has grown up at Rainier Assembly. In Aug. 2007, I preached a message on
healing and had several respond for prayer including Brittany . She was born with a club foot on her right leg. She
had 21 casts in the first 6 months of her life. At age 17 in 2007, her right foot was a size 5-1/2 and left foot was an
8-1/2. We sat her down on the front pew, removed socks and shoes from both feet to be able to compare. (She had
been buying two pairs of shoes for years because of the size difference.) As we prayed, her foot grew 3 sizes over 20
minutes. This was witnessed by our staff, her parents and the entire congregation. She couldn't wear the shoe out,
that she wore in. She was able to run for the first time without tripping.
Recently, she has had pain in the foot again and it has taken quite a bit of time for the foot to work correctly in the
mornings. We prayed a few Sunday nights ago and she emailed me the next day, that she was able to "hop out of bed
the next morning" with no pain and take right off with her business!! God is Great!!
The young people have become so excited about what has been happening on Sunday nights, that they have
begun to comment on Facebook, every week about how good God is!
As we go through worship, the kids (12 and under) are beginning to spontaneously pray for each other as the Holy
Spirit leads.
We praise God for what He is doing and we pray that this breaks out in every church that wants it, throughout the
Lower Columbia Valley and beyond!! Go God!!!
